The De Soto Historical Society would like to thank you for visiting our website. This site was designed as a tool to enrich our community and provide information about Historic De Soto. The articles and photographs are provided to give you a rare look into our past and provide you with a learning experience that is fun for the whole family.

Who are We

Founded in 1991, the De Soto Historical Society was established to serve as a storehouse of knowledge about our community's rich history.

 

 MUSEUM IS BACK OPEN The museum is open Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Also on Tuesdays from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. from May 1st to September 30th.
